Love Week in honour of St. Valentine’s Day: special menus for the most romantic week of the year.

There are some that say St. Valentine’s Day is a day for lovers; others claim it is a day dedicated to love and friendship. Either way we’re happy, because it’s the perfect excuse to celebrate! You choose who to spend it with, and we’ll take care of the rest.

A special menu for a very special week of celebrations 

You’ve got two options.  Either attempt to knock up the perfect meal from scratch at home, or have someone else take care of it for you, allowing you to savour the special dishes that have been prepared for this St. Valentine’s Day.  It falls on a Tuesday this year too, so if you’re not feeling up for going out on a school night, why not book for another day? We’ll be keeping the candles lit and the romance going all week long.

Where? Right in the heart of Playa de las Américas.  Choose the exotic decor of Monkey Bar & Grill and dine under an aged oak pergola, or pick the romantic setting of Monkey Bravo! Italia which will transport you to a typical Italian piazza in Tuscany.

The way to the heart is through the stomach, so savour the delicious ingredients that go into our Pappardelle with Mahón cheese sauce, langoustine, green asparagus and chives, followed by a main course of Tournedos Rossini, beef sirloin with foie gras, truffle and Madeira sauce. Wrap up with an exquisite desert, Chocolate & Passion. Price: 35 € per person (TAX included)

If you an oriental cuisine lover, another option would be The Oriental Monkey restaurant, one of the most romantic venues in all of Tenerife. The menu includes a Selection of Nigiri (Flame-grilled salmon with chipotle chile and avocado, Beef tenderloin tataki with jalapeño chile and teriyaki, Scallops, foie gras & truffle and Cantonese bacon from Canary Islands), Tom Yum soup, Selection of Gyozas and Dim Sum, finished with a Red tuna tataki, Asian sauce and sautéed vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, asparagus and green beans. Dessert is our Chocolate & Passion. Price: 42 € per person (TAX included)

All our menus include a complementary bottle of cava for two, though you have the option of choosing from our extensive wine list, paying a small supplement.
